Coming Soon - Malice, Mint Chocolate Murder, and a New Website

 Dear Readers,

Since I've started writing my second series, I've decided it's time for a new website to incorporate both the Lobster Shack Mysteries and the Ice Cream Shop Mysteries. Writing as Shari Randall and Meri Allen is keeping me too busy to keep up two websites. So please stay tuned - I plan to weave the two sites together to bring to you the best of mystery and all things cozy in Connecticut. Cozy Connecticut!

I'm moderating a panel at the Malice Domestic Conference in Bethesda, MD, April 22-24, 2022.

Mint Chocolate Murder will pub on July 26, 2022! Please consider preordering - it will make me and my publisher so happy.

Coming Soon - Murder in the Mountains!

I'm excited to report that I'll have a short story in the new cozy mystery anthology, MURDER IN THE MOUNTAINS! My story, "The Edelweiss Express," features favorite characters from the Lobster Shack series - Allie Larkin, her best friend, Verity Brooks, and of course, Aunt Gully.

When Aunt Gully wins a Sound of Music themed trip to Austria, Allie and Verity are happy to go along, but tensions simmer beneath the charming surface of the mountain chalet where they're staying, and soon Allie finds herself wrapped up in murder.

Fall 2021 Virtual Events - See You There!

PLNL's Mystery Book Club is returning for a Zoom session with a special guest, author Shari Randall!

Shari with lead a discussion of her book, Curses, Boiled Again, which won an Agatha Award for Best First Novel. We'll discuss the book, explore the genre known as cozy mystery, and talk about the book's Mystic setting. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk at the Public Library of New London.
